Hi I’m Dean, I started Puma Cars in 2005.
Having grown up in Tunbridge Wells, I attended St Johns School, Ridgewaye and finally West Kent College in Tunbridge Wells, where I achieved a Diploma in Construction Technology.
Due to the 90’s building recession, I changed paths and became a trainee salesman for a large commercial dealership. I was then offered a chance to work for GE Capital, where I became a Deputy Branch Manager for their large vehicle rental company. After 8 years I left GE having achieved the position of UK Real Estate Manager South.
At this point I decided to combine my passion for driving and my dream to be self employed and so Puma Cars was born.
I now live in Buxted, with my wife and our 3 daughters, and Justin is still my best friend after 30 years!
Hi I’m Justin and I’ve been working for Puma Cars for over 9 years now.
I was born and raised in Tunbridge Wells and went to St Johns school (still there) and Ridgewaye school (now houses)!
I then went on to Went Kent College in Tonbridge where I completed a Diploma in Computer Studies. During this time I worked part time, at our family business of fishmongers, affectionately known in Tunbridge Wells as ‘Jones the Fish’. When my grandfather and his brother retired, the business closed. I’m pleased to say they are both still around, with my grandfather still living in the Tunbridge Wells area.
I went on to work for a number of years at a large national company, working my way up from telesales to become a successful field sales manager, covering various parts of Kent and south east London.
I now live in Maidstone, with my wife and our 2 young children.
Hi I’m Kate and I’ve been working for Puma Cars for over 8 years now.
I grew up in Maidstone and attended Barming Primary and Maidstone Girls Grammar School. I then went on to Mid Kent College in Maidstone, where I achieved a Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
I went to work for several years at an Italian tour operator, where my role included arranging specialised travel itineraries, by booking accommodation, flights, trains and car hire. I also worked behind the scenes in the administration department.
I left there and went to work for GE Capital’s large vehicle rental company, where I met Dean. After several years, I left GE and went to work for a pharmaceutical marketing company. I initially worked within administration, where I was responsible for all the companies corporate travel and events planning. During my employment there I achieved, Administration, Customer Service and Management qualifications and I was promoted to Office and Administration Manager.
In 2008 our first daughter was born and as always planned, I left my role as Office Administation Manager to join Puma Cars.
